Vineyards and production area:

New and old vineyards located between Lazio and Tuscany at 200/400 meters above sea level.
Volcanic soil in Lazio, alluvial-alberese stone soil in Tuscany.


Average density: 5,000 vines/hectare;
Yield ranging from 7 to 8 tons/hectare;
Spurred cordon training system


Syrah – Sangiovese.

Tasting Notes:

Deep intense ruby color and important nose of red plum, berries, spicy sweet black pepper, cloves, cinnamon and vanilla nuances.
Its acidity content counterbalances its tannins and provides this wine with freshness and intense flavor.
A medium-bodied, warm, no overpowering wine.


Stainless steel fermentation at controlled temperature of 22°-26° (about 72- 78 Fahrenheit).
Maceration in stainless steel tanks for 15-20 days at controlled temperatures (up to 27°).
Later on, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Aged in French oak barriques for 4-6 months and eventually refined in bottle (at least) for 3 months.
