Vineyards and production area:
New and old vineyards located between Lazio and Tuscany, 200/400 meters above sea level.
Volcanic soil in Lazio; calcareous-clay soil in Tuscany. Peculiar microclimatic conditions guarantee high-quality grapes.
Average density: 5,000 vines/hectare.
Yield ranging from 7 to 8 tons/hectare.

Merlot – Sangiovese
Bright and brilliant ruby color, intense fruity aromas of blueberries, plum, black cherry and extremely ripe red fruits, licorice and rhubarb.
Its flavor is delicate and greatly balanced in softness and acidity.
Stainless steel fermentation at controlled temperature of 22°-26° (about 72-78 Fahrenheit).
Two harvesting are made: the former is made in the first week of September, the latter in October allows to increase sugar level.
Partially dried grapes are added to the must (Governo system) at the end of December.
Maceration on lees in stainless steel tanks for 15-20 days at controlled temperature (max 27°) and, later on, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Aged in French oak barriques for 4-6 months and eventually refined in bottle.
