Vineyards and production area:

Tuscany (Panzano in Chianti).
Mix of alluvial, alberese-stone and limestone-clay soil located at 200 /400 meters above sea level.

Plantation:

Average density: 5,000 vines/ hectare;
Yields ranging from 7 to 8 tons/hectare.

Grapes:

75% Sangiovese -15% Merlot – 10% Syrah

Tasting Notes:

Intense ruby ​​red color and violet nuances.
Strong, fruity aromas with several notes of cherry and sour cherry, spicy and toasty hints. It’s provided with an elegant and soft taste, surprising length and pleasant notes of ripe red fruits.
Its remarkable structure is suitable for a serious aging.

Vinification:

Fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature (22° -26°, about 72- 78 Fahrenheit). It macerates on lees in stainless steel tanks for 15-20 days at controlled temperature.
After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.
The juice is aged for 12-15 months in French oak barriques.
